Circus Fun in Broadmead

  1. maybe i'm biased but i love this. Shame it's not the whole show. It was interesting to talk to paddy about his bikes and find out that it's because they're fixed wheel - so no break cables to get in the way meaning you can do lots of flips and spins and cycling backwards and crazy stuff and the handlebars cycling (which i can do on a small bike) is possible coz the frames angled differently. its been explained to me before, the trigonometry... on a circus bike the forks and down pipe are closer to vertical.
Their classic clowning has a lot going for it. It's a convention which is understood and accepted even by the general shopping population on a saturday in broadmede. this means that they might stop and watch instead of walking past.
